Uzella Court Antiques and Fine Art is home to an array of English period oak and mahogany furniture, silver, antique glass, ceramics and 18th and 19th century paintings.
The word ‘Uzella’ comes from the Greek philosopher Ptomey who prepared the first map of England and named this area of Cornwall, Uzella.
After two years of careful renovation, including the unearthing of five granite fireplaces and part of a 12th century cobbled courtyard the 15th century building was given an award by Restormel Borough Council for the standard of restoration.
Uzella Court strives to be different in every way, the showcases for instance were handmade from pear wood sourced from an orchard near Helston.
My passion for Uzella Court is renewed everytime I walk into this wonderful building. I adore beautiful objects, I appreciate the quality and workmanship and I only offer pieces which I personally find desirable.
